Welcome to the Mid-Warwickshire website where we hope you will find both useful Amnesty information and details of our group, our campaigns and our local actions. 

Stop Press 16th June 2008: The Reverend Bienvenido Samba Momesori (pictured above), who our group has supported for two years, has been released by the government of Equatorial Guinea.  Thanks to everyone in Warwickshire who has sent him cards of peace and hope through our various events. 

Next Events in 2008:

Letter writing event on 23rd June, at the Cricketers pub, L/Spa, 20:00.  Please proceed to the back room which is reserved for us.

Monthly group meeting, 3rd July, 20:00.  Special guest speaker will attend - a Jewish lady who has been to Israel and Palestine and will report back to us about her experiences in the two countries.

Concert on 6th July, 15:00.   Amnesty benefit concert for a sunny summer afternoon. Featuring Jeremy Ballard, violin, and Antoine Mitchell, piano.   Coventry Road, Warwick.  See here for more details.
